The under-pressure manager insisted he did not fear losing his job, claiming, “I believe we are really close to a turnaround,” despite sliding worryingly close to the chopping block with a comprehensive setback against their arch-rivals.

A Second-Half Collapse Results in Derby Disaster

“We produced plenty of positives that we did, once more. But now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would change the same. That’s why I am convinced we’re going to be able to turn things around.”

The Rangers Boss Outlook

The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge despite what felt like a statement victory. “Step by step, then we can gradually build a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the group is outstanding.”
